Celebrating Undergraduate Student Scholarship in Hispanic Studies
The Annual Capstone Colloquium is a signature event celebrating our graduating seniors’ intellectual and creative journeys in the Hispanic Studies concentration.
The Capstone Colloquium provides a meaningful opportunity for students to synthesize their experiences and showcase the depth and diversity of their engagement with the Spanish-speaking world.
Students select and present a representative piece from their time in the program, whether it be an excerpt from an academic essay, a translation, an independent research project, or a creative work in any format.
Each presentation offers insight into the origin of the selected piece, such as the course or context in which it was developed, and includes a personal reflection on how the work embodies the student’s academic and intellectual growth within the concentration.
