Dear HS community,

It’s a great pleasure to write to you with my first chair’s welcome to the new academic year! It is truly an honor to take over this role after Laura’s many years of incredible service that have made the department the collegial, dynamic, vibrant place it is today. I hope to follow in the footsteps of the excellent work she has done with, and on behalf of, our students, colleagues, and staff in her tenure as chair.
